Natural Way to Maintain Good Health


The perfect and balanced health is defined as a combined state of balanced physiological, psychological and spiritual health. There are many natural ways to stay healthy. It is better to go for natural medicines as there are no side effects from them. One natural way to maintain good health is consumption of fruits. Let us discuss about this in brief.

Apple:

Eating an apple daily helps to maintain good health. Apple consists about 85% of water along with vitamin A, C, pectin and potassium. Its peal is nutritious as well as appetising. Eating apple with its peal gives best results in few days. Apple is very helpful in maintaining blood volume. So eating an apple keeps doctor away.

Orange:

Orange is delicious juicy fruit which is rich in vitamin C. As it is rich in sugar content it provides more energy and also taken as medicine to cure day-to-day health problems. It helps in alleviating high blood pressure and if it is consumed after meals corrects indigestion. It is a good nourishment to body as well as mind. If the person is suffering from cough and cold , orange should not be consumed.

Lemon:

Lemon plays a very significant role in our daily diet. It is rich in vitamin C and according to modern scientists, it is rich in sodium, phosphorus, chlorine etc which are essential for healthy growth of our body. It also contains proteins and fats which are indispensable for our body.

Its uses are:

1) Two teaspoon of lemon juice and honey mixed in a glass of lukewarm water reduces fat.
2) Two teaspoon of lemon juice, sugar mixed in a glass of water cures nausea and burning sensation in the body.
3) Lemon juice, if taken along with meals cures liver problems.
4) Two teaspoon of lemon mixed in a glass of water makes the person active throughout the day.

Lemon should not be consumed by a person suffering from cough and cold, acidity etc.

Papaya:

Papaya is very good for health. It is rich in vitamin A and C. It can be consumed by anybody including heart patient and a pregnant woman. Green immature papayas are the source of papain, an enzyme which helps in digestion and prevention of constipation and piles.

Banana:

Banana is next to mothers milk. It is all season fruit found all over India especially in coastal regions. It is a good appetizer and makes a complete diet itself. It is a nourishing fruit. It contains carbohydrates. It also contains phosphorus, potassium and vitamins A and C. It has many advantages, which include being easily digestible, has healing properties. Raw banana helps to relieve constipation and ripe ones relieve diarrhea.
