Maintaining Good Health With Back Pain


As a long time sufferer of back related pain, including sciatica, I know how difficult it can be to stay healthy. I was personally bed-ridden for three years before I started making my recovery. If you are dealing or know someone who is dealing with back pain, then you know how crippling a burden it can be both physically and emotionally.

When you are dealing with pain exercise becomes a key factor in determining whether or not you will be able to maintain your good health. There are many things that we take for granted when we live without pain. For those of us who are suffering, however, pain can severely limit the things we are able to do physically. As the things we are able to do decrease so does the ability to exercise our bodies. For many people, this stage of physical debilitation can often lead to more serious issues of depression. This further exasperates the problem of exercise because most people who suffer from depression lose the motivation to fight for what they need to thrive.

Having physical limitations doesn’t mean you are stuck in a pattern of ever-declining health, however. There are things that you can do to improve your health. The biggest key to your success is having the right attitude and you can’t let your circumstances get you down.

One of the most significant things you can do to immediately improve your short term health is to embark on a 3 day juice fast. You would be surprised to find out how much our bodies hold on to toxins when we eat the wrong kinds of foods.

After your body has purged itself from all of said toxins, it is good to embark on a mild diet of raw fruits and vegetables. You should try to avoid processed sugar and rely on the natural sugar. Avoid eating meat, as well, because you will encourage your body to become constipated once again once the meat starts its slow journey through your digestive system. Make sure to drink plenty of water throughout the day (a good goal would be about one gallon of water a day). Taking these steps will allow your body to maintain good health because you will be clear of toxins.
